Katrina Goodwin

Katrina has always had a love for making and listening to music. Music has always played a role in her family. Many of her family members have played in various symphonies across Utah. She began playing piano at the age of 5 and started her stringed instrument journey on the violin at age 9. Katrina discovered her love for the cello at age 11 and quickly made the permanent change from violin to cello soon after. Katrina has played with the Northern Utah Youth Symphony (formerly the Lincoln Youth Symphony), the Cache Symphony Orchestra, and now Skyward.

Katrina studied at Utah State University and Brigham Young University and graduated with her Bachelors in American History. Katrina currently works as a store manager for Mulberry Paper and More, a unique decorative paper store in North Salt Lake.

Katrina enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys camping, reading, traveling, and art journaling.

She is grateful for the chance to keep playing the cello with Skyward!
